Written by J M Barrie (author of Peter Pan), what happens to the social order when a Lord, his family and faithful butler are shipwrecked.

Season date are the first three weeks of December 2009.

Auditions are by booking through the director, Jeff Watkins and will be held on the weekend of the 19th and 20th of September.

Note: All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Crichton

Males, aged 30 to 35. To be an indoor servant at all is to CRICHTON a badge of honour. To be a butler at thirty is the realisation of his proudest ambitions.

Lady Mary

Females, aged 25 to 30. Is a beautiful creature, and is of a natural hauteur which is at once the fury and the envy of her sisters.

Ernest Woolley

Males, aged 20 to 30. Probably Ernest's great moment is when he wakes of a morning and realises that he really is Ernest.

Earl of Loam

Males, aged 45 to 60. Is a widower, a philanthropist, and a peer of advanced ideas.

Ladies Catherine and Agatha

Females, aged 16 to 25. They are very fashionable young women indeed, who might wake up for a dance, but they are very lazy.

Mr Treherne

Males, aged 25 to 40. An athletic, pleasant-faced young clergyman.

Tweeny

Females, aged 18 to 25. Is a between maid. She is a very humble and frightened kitchen maid.

Lord Brocklehurst

Males, aged 30 to 40. Is nothing save for his rank. You could pick him up by the handful any day in Piccadilly or Holborn, buying socks--or selling them.

Countess of Brocklehurst

Females, aged 45 to 60. She is a very formidable old lady.

Various

Any gender, aged 12 to 40. Mrs Perkins the housekeeper. Monsieur Fleury the Cook. Mr Rolleston the Stableman. Mr Tompsett the Coachman and Horseman. Miss Fisher - This superb creature is no less than LADY MARY'S maid, and even LORD LOAM is a little nervous. Miss Simmons, Lady Catherine’s Maid. Mademoiselle Jeanne, Lady Agatha’s Maid. Thomas the Footman. John the Doorman. Jane and Gladys Kitchen Hands. Stable Boy and Page. Naval Officer.
