Final year of RMIT Media coming up. It's a decent course, but too theoretical for an aspiring DP — Hence I work on as many additional projects as I can. In 2009 I worked on 15 productions in various capacities, and managed to win Best Cinematography in the 48 Hour Film Project Melbourne. Prize money should hopefully go towards shooting on 16mm and RED in 2010. Further into the future, I hope to take an AFTRS course in camera assisting and work my way up from there.

I've been DP on three student films and three films for competitions. I've completed a work attachment in the electrics department of an ABC comedy series, "Lowdown", to be broadcast in 2010. I've worked on several VCA and RMIT graduate films in various capacities.
Also I read a lot. Cinematography.com forums, books by Paul Wheeler, David Mullen, David E. Elkins, Harry C. Box, etc.
