Very accommodating when asked to accomplish something I've said I'll do. Loads of energy. Overflowing with ideas that I would love to let loose on.

I was born into a family of Lebanese descent where Arabic music was a part of my life and had a grandmother who was an opera singer, I began to play piano and guitar by ear and was taught piano from an early age. I sang solo lead in performances as well as arranging all parts for voice in choirs and folk partnerships. By the age of 18 I was singing at folk clubs in Melbourne, and writing my own music.
I took up recorder as an adult, playing in early music in consorts, inspired by the fact that she was learning and performing Renaissance dance with Helga Hill’s “Rippon Lea Dance Company” in 1986-7. In 1997-98 I led a madrigal choir and a string trio for two years, performing at venues around Melbourne with both groups. I am currently studying a Grad Dip in creative arts Therapy.

I've written music for two short films. I do a thing that I call sounds sculptures and I have been commissioned to do 12 of them. In 2007 I wrote the music for the Melb. Queer Film Fest Promo, and a soundscape for an exhibition launching of a book of Photographs.Last year I wrote the music and did the sound design for 6 pieces of community theatre in Melbourne. I have written for a trapeze artist, and I performed in a chamber orchestra and an experimental group.

I love music. I love making music for moving images. I love receiving a brief and being able to give the director/producer what they asked for.
